Gold Mining Excellence
Tanzania's Rising
Gold Producer
Strategically positioned in the Lake Victoria gold belt, Polygold consolidates underutilized gold assets into scalable, profitable operations.
Building Tanzania's Gold Future
Polygold Company Limited is registered under the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania, with offices in Dar es Salaam and Musoma, and operations in the Mara Region.
Since our establishment in 2018, we have focused on the acquisition, consolidation, and development of gold assets into structured and scalable operations within the Lake Victoria gold belt — one of Africa's most prolific gold-bearing regions.
We have invested over USD 30 million in exploration, infrastructure development, mining operations, and processing capabilities, demonstrating strong financial commitment and long-term strategic intent within Tanzania's mining sector.

The Cluster Approach
An untapped niche: consolidating small, proven gold deposits that individually cannot attract capital into a powerful, unified mining hub.
Acquire
Target small deposits (0.5–10 tons) with proven resources, abandoned by majors due to size — but available at favorable terms.
Consolidate
Combine adjacent licenses within the Mara Region under shared infrastructure, technical expertise, and processing facilities.
Produce
Create a mining hub targeting 50+ tons of gold reserves with 150,000 tons of ore processing capacity per year.
Why Small Deposits Go Undeveloped
- Individually on the verge of profitability — capital costs for a processing complex are not justified by reserves alone.
- Individual license holders lack the capital and expertise for high-quality geological exploration.
- Large companies explored the region but abandoned these deposits — not for lack of gold, but due to their individual size.
The Opportunity
Current market conditions place small license holders in a highly unfavorable position — making asset acquisition feasible at compelling valuations. Polygold turns this structural inefficiency into a competitive advantage.
Active & Growing Asset Portfolio
Three projects forming the core of our gold mining cluster in the Mara Region.
Cluster Map
Seka Mine
Our primary producing asset. Open-pit mining with CIP gold processing plant operating at 120,000 tons/year. Final product: Doré bars, sold to Bank of Tanzania.
Progressive Growth Since 2018
Foundation
Company formation and initial acquisition of mining licenses in the Mara Region.
Asset Consolidation
Strategic asset consolidation within the Mara Region, including the Ikungu Project acquisition.
Exploration Phase
Execution of extensive exploration activities across all licensed areas. Resource estimation completed at Ikungu.
Production Start
Commencement of open-pit operations and underground mining development at Ikungu Project (ML 369/2020).
Seka Expansion
Acquisition of Seka Project (MMG) including ML 449 & 450 and processing plant. Underground mining at Ikungu begins.
Scaling Up
Expanding processing capacity to 170,000 t/yr. Growing toward 50+ tons gold reserves cluster target.
